Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My child is a beginner, can they still train at the academy? 

A: Evolve 2 Perform welcomes all skill levels from beginning to advanced athletes and beyond at the professional level. We have multiple class options offered in controlled group settings that allow all skill levels to develop, improve their game and reach their maximum potential. Group classes begin at ages 8+ and can be found HERE

Q: Do you offer individual, private 1-on-1 training?

A: Yes, the academy provides offerings for individual, private 1-on-1 training. More information can be found HERE.

Q: How long do sessions last? 

A: The length of each session will vary dependent on the type of session: group basketball sessions are 60 mins, group vertimax sessions are 30 mins, and group fitness sessions are 30 mins. Individual, private 1-on-1 sessions are 60 mins. Gym rentals begin at 60 min increments and can range in length depending on how many back-to-back slots are booked. Our Dr. Dish Shooting Machine rentals are 30min sessions with the ability to book back-to-back sessions up to 1 hour.

Q: Do I need to sign-up prior to coming or can I just walk-in? 

A: Due to demand, the academy is unable to accommodate walk-ins. We encourage all clients to sign-up, pay, and schedule their workouts and group classes directly online. Please email info@evolve2perform.com should you need any assistance getting started.

Q: What skills do they work in the group session? 

A: Classes are centered around a curriculum that covers core fundamentals of ball-handling, shooting, defense, rebounding, footwork and basketball IQ. We also offer specialty classes such as "In The Lab" ,"Shooting: Reps & Techniques" along with "Ball Handling : Dribbling & Techniques" ,"Emphasized Principles and more!

Q: Do you offer internships? 

A: At Evolve 2 Perform we believe in fostering talent both on and off the court. Internship positions are open to individuals with a passion for basketball, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and contribute to our academy's mission. Please email info@evolve2perform.com to request information on available internship opportunities.

Q: Do you offer opportunities for youth to earn community service credits?

A: Yes, the academy is able to provide opportunities for youth to earn community service credits required for graduation.

​

Q: Do you have open gym at your facility? 

A: We do not currently offer open gym times, however court rentals are available for up to a maximum of 5 attendees. For information on full gym buyouts, please email info@evolve2perform.com.

Q: I am ready to sign-up, what is the best deal?

A: The best deal is our membership plan. 

​

Q: Do you have bathrooms at your facility?

A: Yes, there are two unisex bathrooms located on site. There is a bathroom located in the main lobby of the training gym as well as on the second floor in the film breakdown room. 

​

Q: How can I book a training session? 

A: Click and choose your desired class/private from the website HERE and follow the booking prompts.

Q: How can I rent the court and view availability?

Q: Can I bring my own basketball or do you provide them?

A: You are welcome to bring your own basketball for private lessons and gym rentals, however basketballs are always provided for group and private lessons. 

​

Q: Are there any age restrictions for using the basketball gym?

A: You must be 16 to rent the basketball gym without an adult present. There are no age restrictions to rent the gym when a supervised adult is present.

​

Q: Is there a limit to the number of participants allowed in the gym at a time?

A: The maximum number of participants varies depending on the particular class; however, the maximum number of participants most often will not exceed between 8-12 participants at any given time depending on the class. 

​

Q: Are there any amenities available at the basketball gym, such as changing rooms or showers?

A: The gym is equipped with a main lobby offering complimentary tea/coffee, bathrooms, water fountains, a skill lab, a recovery room, a half court and a full court as well as a cafe with gear/drinks/snacks available for purchase. Certain amenities are only available to those who have an active membership.

 

Q: Can I bring my own equipment, such as training cones or agility ladders?

A: You are welcome to bring your own equipment when renting the court, however the equipment you bring with you is at your own risk. Evolve 2 Perform assumes no liability for any items you bring with you.

Q: What attire and footwear is required?

A: Proper attire and footwear are essential for a safe and effective training experience. Athletic attire and closed toed athletic shoes are required at all times. Opt for clothing made from moisture-wicking material to keep you dry and comfortable during workouts. To protect the gym floor, we ask that your shoes have clean, non-marking soles.

Q: How far in advance should I make a reservation for classes or for renting the basketball gym? 

A: You are welcome to book up to 60 days in advance. We encourage clients to book as far in advance as possible since spots are limited and are always offered on a first come, first serve basis. 

​

Q: Do you offer any discounts through the year?

A: Absolutely! At Evolve 2 Perform, we believe in making basketball training accessible to everyone. To show our appreciation for your commitment, we regularly offer a variety of discounts and promotions throughout the year such as seasonal promotions and flash sales.

Q: Can I come and try a class?

A: We believe in the power of firsthand experience, and that's why we offer a complimentary trial class to all new clients. You can book directly through the link found HERE.

Q: Do you offer monthly memberships?

A: We believe in providing flexible options to meet the unique needs of every athlete. Our membership levels are designed to offer a range of benefits, ensuring you can choose the plan that aligns with your goals. You can find more information on our membership options HERE.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We understand that schedules can change, and flexibility is important. Clients can reschedule training sessions with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made at the owner's discretion, particularly in the case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. If you have a medical issue that prevents you from attending, exceptions can be considered with a provided doctor's note. If you need to discuss a cancellation, rescheduling, or have specific circumstances to address, please reach out to our administration team. We're here to help and ensure a positive experience for all our athletes.

Q: Can parents watch during group or private lessons?

A: Parents are welcome to observe group lessons from designated viewing areas. This allows you to witness your child's progress and gain insights into our coaching methods. For private lessons, we encourage parents to discuss their preferences with the trainer. Some parents prefer to observe, while others may choose to wait in a designated area.

Q: Do you offer scholarships or financial assistance?
